From Spiritual Shitshow to Numinous Wisdom: The Rebrand Story

When I first started sharing my work, I called it Spiritual Shitshow. And honestly? That name still feels true — which is why I’ve kept it for my podcast. Because spirituality is not the clean, curated Instagram reel we’ve been sold. It’s not all white robes, salt lamps, and perfect affirmations. It’s messy. Really fucking messy.

The truth is, when things feel like a shitshow, that’s often the exact moment the deepest spiritual growth is happening. It’s in the unraveling, the confusion, and the chaos that our soul does some of its most powerful work. That’s why Spiritual Shitshow will always have a place in my heart — it honors the raw, real human journey we’re all on.

But here’s the thing: while the shitshow is real, so is the Divine.

That’s where the name Numinous Wisdom comes in. The word numinous comes from the Latin numen, meaning “divine presence.” It’s that shiver of awe, that sense of sacred wonder, that reminder that even in the darkest, messiest, most confusing times…something greater is holding us. Always.

So Numinous Wisdom became the next chapter of this work — not as a way to erase the mess, but as a way to hold both. It’s the balance: honoring the raw, messy human experience and the ever-present divine thread that runs through it all.

For me, this rebrand was about finally aligning my outer expression with my true self. In the past, I tried to make Numinous Wisdom feel “professional.” I tried on the typical spiritual costume — polished, serious, respectable. But it didn’t fit. The truth is, when I channel, the messages come through playful, symbolic, sometimes even cheeky. They’re full of joy, creativity, and reminders that we’re co-creators in this soul journey.

So why should the brand look any different?

The rebrand came through a creative soul who saw me — and in reflecting my energy back, offered a key to unlocking my magic. Suddenly, the container of Numinous Wisdom could be what it was always meant to be: creative, fun, a little outside-the-box, and above all, authentic.

So yes, sometimes life is a Spiritual Shitshow. And yes, the numinous — the divine presence — is always here. Together, they tell the whole story.
